Jeff Parr
Vice Chairman, Clairvest Group Inc.
Jeff, a FCA, FCPA, and recipient of the CVCA’s Ted Anderson Community Service Award, has spent more than 30 years providing capital to mid-market companies. Since joining Clairvest in 1995, he worked with Ken Rotman to lead the way in the development and success of Clairvest’s private equity investment business. He served as Co-CEO and Managing Director and retired from his executive roles at the end of 2023. He continues to serve on the Clairvest Board of Directors as Vice Chairman. Before coming to Clairvest, Jeff was one of three partners managing the Canadian Mezzanine Fund (CMF), a successful private equity fund sponsored by Gordon Capital Corporation. Prior to joining CMF, he held progressive management positions with the mid-market senior and junior debt capital groups of National Bank of Canada and Citibank Canada. Jeff graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1982 and qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand in 1985. In 2023, he was awarded a Doctor of Laws degree from Western in recognition of his diverse philanthropic contributions, in particular with student mental health and he serves as a member of the Investment Committee at Western.
