David Sturdee
Managing Director
David joined Clairvest in 2001 and leads Clairvest’s healthcare and life sciences practice. He is responsible for domain research and investment origination, investment execution and management. Before coming to Clairvest, he was a Project Leader with the Boston Consulting Group in its Toronto and Bangkok offices, providing strategic management consulting to companies in the healthcare, financial services, telecommunications and energy sectors. David received a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Toronto, an M.A. in philosophy from Simon Fraser University and an B.A. (Hons) in philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he was the gold medalist. David serves on the board of directors of Landauer Metropolitan, Lyophilization Services of New England and Linen King. He previously served on the board of directors of Integral Orthopedics and N-Brook Mortgage Group. David also serves on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto.
