David Sturdee

David joined Clairvest in 2001 and is responsible for domain research and investment origination, investment execution and management. Before coming to Clairvest, he was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in its Toronto and Bangkok offices, providing strategic management consulting to companies in the health-care, financial services, telecommunications and energy sectors. David received a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Toronto, an M.A. in philosophy from Simon Fraser University and an H.B.A. in philosophy from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he was a gold medallist. David serves on the board of directors of Landauer Metropolitan, N-Brook Mortgage Group and Lyophilization Services of New England. He previously served on the board of directors of Integral Orthopedics, a former Clairvest portfolio company.
