Clairvest Group Inc. first invested in Wellington Financial via Fund I with a $5 million commitment in 2000. This was increased in 2003 with a $20 million commitment in Fund II. Based on the success of both funds, Clairvest has invested $25 million into Fund III.
Wellington Financial LP is a privately held speciality finance firm providing operating lines of credit, term venture and amortizing loans up to $40 million.
